Built in 1910, this historic Edwardian building sits on the edge of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site and the Peak District National Park. After the local council threatened its closure, a community charity rescued the building in 2010. Today, it operates as a vibrant community hub, theatre, and museum space funded through volunteer efforts.</p>
