Course description

First Connections is David Traynor's 10-week foundation course for anyone who wants to explore psychic and mediumistic development in a supportive and structured environment.

Starting with the basics, David will introduce you to spiritual energy, chakras, the aura and meditation before exploring Spirit Guides, Inspirers and the Angelic Realm. As the course develops, you will discover techniques for preparing yourself for spiritual work, recognising intuitive impressions and exploring communication with Spirit.

No previous experience is required. Whether you are completely new to spiritual development, have experienced moments you cannot easily explain or simply want to refresh your existing knowledge, First Connections provides a foundation from which to explore your abilities.

Each week builds upon the last, allowing you to develop your understanding, confidence and personal approach while discovering where your own spiritual journey may lead.

Requirements

No previous psychic or mediumistic experience is required
An interest in psychic, mediumistic or spiritual development
A willingness to participate in meditation and practical development exercises
A computer, tablet or smartphone capable of joining Zoom
A reliable internet connection
The Zoom app installed before your first session
A quiet, comfortable space where you can participate without unnecessary interruptions
A pen and notebook or journal for notes and personal experiences
Headphones are optional but may be useful during meditation
An open mind and willingness to explore your own experiences
Regular attendance is recommended as each week builds upon previous learning

Your Continuing Spiritual Development

No. First Connections is designed for beginners as well as people who have previously explored psychic or mediumistic development and would like to refresh their foundations.

That's absolutely fine. You do not need to arrive knowing what abilities you may or may not have. The course gives you opportunities to explore your own experiences and discover how you respond to different development techniques.

Mediumistic development forms an important part of First Connections, but the course begins with broader foundations including energy, meditation, awareness, chakras, the aura, Spirit Guides and spiritual development.

Students will explore exercises associated with mediumistic communication, but experiences vary between individuals and a particular experience or outcome cannot be guaranteed.

David will explore Spirit Guides and introduce exercises intended to help students explore their own sense of spiritual guidance. Individual experiences differ and there is no expectation that everybody will experience this in the same way.

As the course develops, you may have opportunities to practise interpreting and communicating impressions. These exercises are intended to support learning and development rather than professional practice.

The course is delivered live online using Zoom, with one session each week for 10 weeks.

First Connections follows a progressive structure where each week builds upon previous learning. Students should therefore begin with Week 1 rather than joining part-way through.

Regular attendance is recommended. Where playback support is available, this can help you catch up before the following session.

No. First Connections provides a foundation for personal psychic and mediumistic development. Becoming a professional practitioner requires further development, experience and individual responsibility.

Students who complete the course and successfully answer the required course questions can receive a certificate of completion.

First Connections provides a foundation from which you can continue practising and developing your abilities or progress to more advanced courses with David where appropriate.
