Course description

Stillness Speaks is a five-week intermediate development course presented by David for those ready to explore their psychic and mediumistic abilities at a deeper level.

Building upon the foundations of meditation and communication with Spirit, David explores how reducing mental noise and developing greater inner stillness can help you recognise subtle impressions with greater clarity.

Inspired by themes found within the work of Eckhart Tolle, the course explores presence, awareness and stillness alongside David's practical approach to mediumistic development.

Through guided meditation, discussion and practical exercises, you will explore different avenues of communication, strengthen your awareness and develop greater confidence in recognising what you receive.

Stillness Speaks is a natural progression from First Connections and is designed for those ready to listen more closely, trust their experiences and continue developing their own relationship with mediumship

Discovering Inner Stillness

Begin by exploring the relationship between thought, awareness and stillness. David introduces the principles behind the course and considers how constant mental activity can make subtle impressions more difficult to recognise during psychic and mediumistic development.
  • Understanding Stillness, Thought & Awareness

Listening Beyond the Noise

Develop your awareness through meditation and focused exercises designed to help you notice the difference between everyday thoughts and quieter impressions. Explore the importance of observing what you experience before trying to analyse it.
  • Recognising Subtle Impressions

Deepening Communication

Build upon your existing mediumistic foundations and explore different ways communication may present itself. Focus on recognising detail, allowing information to develop and avoiding the temptation to force or anticipate what should happen.
  • Strengthening Your Mediumistic Connection

Clarity, Evidence & Trust

Explore how greater awareness can help you communicate impressions more clearly. David looks at confidence, trust and the importance of distinguishing between what you actually receive and what you may be assuming or interpreting.
  • Developing Clearer & More Confident Communication

Letting Stillness Guide You

Bring the course together through meditation, practical development and reflection. Consider how the techniques explored during the previous weeks can become part of your continuing spiritual practice and mediumistic development.
  • Integrating Stillness Into Your Spiritual Development

Stillness Speaks is designed primarily for intermediate students who already understand the foundations of psychic or mediumistic development and have some experience of meditation.

First Connections is the recommended foundation and provides a natural progression into Stillness Speaks. However, students with equivalent previous experience may also be suitable.

No. You do not need to work professionally or voluntarily as a medium, but you should already have some experience of psychic or mediumistic development.

The course explores the idea that developing greater mental stillness and focused awareness may make it easier to notice subtle thoughts, feelings, imagery and other impressions during mediumistic exercises.

No. Stillness Speaks is David Traynor's psychic and mediumistic development course. Themes surrounding presence, awareness and stillness found within the work of Eckhart Tolle provide inspiration for parts of the course, but it is not an official Eckhart Tolle programme.

Yes. Meditation is an important part of Stillness Speaks and is used alongside discussion and practical mediumistic development exercises.

No particular spiritual or mediumistic experience can be guaranteed. Students develop differently, and the course provides techniques and opportunities for exploring and strengthening their individual practice.

Each week builds upon previous learning, so regular attendance is strongly recommended. Where playback support is available, this may help you catch up before the following session.

No. As Stillness Speaks follows a progressive five-week structure, students should begin with Week 1 rather than joining part-way through.

Stillness Speaks is delivered live online using Zoom, with one session each week for five weeks.

Students who complete the course and successfully answer the required course questions can receive a certificate of completion.

You can continue incorporating the meditation, awareness and development techniques explored during the course into your personal practice and consider further intermediate or advanced development with David.
