Talk Tarot is David Traynor's practical introduction to reading Tarot and other card decks with intuition, confidence and purpose.

Rather than simply memorising traditional meanings for individual cards, David encourages you to look beyond the textbook and discover how imagery, symbolism, intuition and the relationship between cards can help tell the story of a reading.

You'll explore the history and structure of Tarot, preparation for a reading, different approaches to card spreads and techniques for recognising and interpreting the information presented to you.

David will also explore how to communicate a reading clearly and responsibly, from asking the right questions to explaining what you perceive with confidence.

No previous Tarot experience is required. Whether you want to read for yourself, family and friends or develop your skills further, Talk Tarot provides practical foundations you can continue using with virtually any deck.

You will need a Tarot deck for the practical exercises. If you already own one that you are comfortable using, you can bring that deck.

The course primarily explores Tarot, but many of the intuitive techniques David teaches can also be applied when working with other card decks.

Tarot generally follows an established structure, traditionally consisting of 78 cards divided into the Major and Minor Arcana. Oracle decks do not have to follow this structure and can vary considerably between creators and subjects.
